"Journalists are intellectual prostitutes" Well, at least he got the "prostitute" part, right.

When Joe Biden ran for his Democrat Party's
Presidential Nomination in 1988, the media
rightfully challenged his
bogus claims.

Compare those actual acts of real
journalism to Today's
bought off, paid for and corrupt
hand puppets staffing newsrooms of our major
media 'information' outlets.

But apparently, the shills are nothing new.
Consider this statement from a prominent editor
of the New York Times, delivered in 1883.

"Journalists are intellectual prostitutes"
Well, at least he got the "prostitute" part, right.

"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it."

From John Swinton in 1883, head of the editorial staff for the New York Times, responding to a toast recognizing the independent press, at a banquet where he was guest of honor.

"There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone."

"The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?"

"We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes." *

Fast forward to today, and generations later, many of these so-called journalists have been strategically placed in the White House Press briefing room, smack dab in front of the President of the United States, taunting him, calling him a liar to his face, in front of live audiences of millions of Americans tuning in during this time of crisis hoping to get information from the President and his team, as it relates to the lives of their families and countless others affected during this critical situation in our Nation's history.

What is noticeably missing from Swinton's charges--these 'intellectual (journalists) prostitutes,' as he describes the whores of his trade--they have willingly crawled into bed with  dark forces in a swirling sewer of uncontrollable government political machinery, which orchestrates and manipulates every tidbit of news they select for you, the American public, to devour.  By doing so, they control what you think and how you react in a predetermined fashion.  And unfortunately, just like trained 'lab-rats' the American people react accordingly.

Two former CIA Directors arrogantly proclaimed, "he who controls information can use that data for political gain, power and wealth."  Director William Colby brazenly boasted, "The CIA owns everyone of any significance in the major media."  Another former CIA Director, William Casey was no less secretive when stating, “We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”*

For this latest generation of pseudo-sell-out wannabe scribes, John Swinton appeared to be 'right on the money.'  (Pun INTENDED).

"The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon (wealth/money), and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread.
