The Notre Dame Cathedral Catastrophe...should we call in Inspector Jacques Clouseau, or is the mystery so simple even a cave man could solve it?

French President Emmanuel Macron has already called for donations to reconstruct the fire ravaged Notre Dame Cathedral, and said he would draw on the world’s best talents for the task.

Granted, Notre Dame Cathedral is a Catholic institution, but the massive structure is owned by the French Government. And, because France is a secular state, Notre Dame Cathedral is considered a historic monument, therefore maintenance and repair of the structure becomes the responsibility of the state.

So, is Notre Dame Cathedral insured, or as in the case of many irreplaceable historic iconic relics, is the actual structure uninsurable.  No one seems to be waiting around for any insurance representatives to come forward.  Instead, an immediate response to the tragedy has focused on personal contributions, even before floating embers have been completely extinguished.

Several wealthy French business individuals have already stepped forward and pledged millions to assist in replacement assistance.  Already, fundraising activities are underway throughout the world seeking donations from average citizens for rebuilding.  Still others are asking if the Vatican should step to the front of this crowd, digging into its own deep pockets, and committing itself to being the leader in any reconstruction/restoration efforts.

Until we get more answers to nagging questions about this unthinkable devastation, we highly recommend employing theA black backpack Our suspect is a Mormon - Inspector Clouseau ... professional services of Inspector Clouseau.
