Their plan was to make employer health care coverage so expensive and out of reach for most small business owners, they would be forced to eliminate coverage of their employees--FORCING THEM INTO a government mandated plan. (Single Payer)
Their plan was to write the bill in such a way that "if you like your insurance plan--you can keep it....if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor," would be a moot point because of manipulations to wording in the bill--FORCING CURRENT POLICY HOLDERS INTO a government mandated plan.

Before Barack H. Obama (Barry
Soretoro, or whoever the hell this guy is) was out of diapers,
THIS BILL WAS ALREADY WRITTEN
and waiting for him to force upon the
American public.
Obama was/is nothing more than the Progressive's 'delivery boy.'
Before Obama picked up the ball and ran for the end zone, Hillary Clinton (as first lady--not an elected public official at that time) was the original tool used by Progressives to get this legislation forced upon the American public, but it failed.
Pieces of the puzzle now fit quite conveniently and explain why the Progressive Machine pulled the rug out from beneath Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House. Their ultimate goal was to get Single Payer Healthcare (Socialized medicine) legislation pushed through Congress and signed into the law of this land. Why would they 'go with a proven LOSER, in the person of Hillary Clinton.
