Fast food workers are demanding pay increases to $15.00 an hour

According to a report at .wistv.com, "...fast food workers from across the country voted Saturday to escalate their efforts for $15-an-hour pay and union membership by using nonviolent civil disobedience.

"People are just fed up," said Cindy Enriquez, 20, of Phoenix. The $8.25 an hour she makes working for McDonald's is not enough to go to college and become a police officer and barely enough to pay her rent, Enriquez said. Full report here: http://www.wistv.com/story/26120507/fast-food-workers-vow-civil-disobedience

Unfortunately, what this young woman apparently fails to understand, and realize, is that her $8.25 an hour job flipping hamburgers at McDonalds was never intended to be a place where she obviously would earn sufficient wages to maintain a liveable lifestyle, let alone heading off to earn a college degree.

Also, a bit of advice for Cindy Enriques and her fellow 'nonviolent civil disobedient' co-workers.....

ONE FINAL THOUGHT FOR
Cindy Enriques and her fellow

co-workers.....
