Jussie Smollett has what it takes to be the Democratic Presidential Candidate

The 37 year old 'Empire' actor told Chicago authorities he was the victim of a hate crime.

Smollett, who is black,  alleges that in the early morning hours  on January 29th he was attacked by two men who "put a rope around his neck and poured an unknown chemical substance on him."

Two men (brothers) were arrested last week in connection with the alleged crime, but were later released without charges, when police reported the discovery of "new evidence."

Reportedly, this is not Smollett's first trip to the carnival fortune teller.  Authorities told reporters, "More than a decade ago, Smollett pleaded no contest to providing false information to law enforcement in a 2007 misdemeanor case."

In that case, the instant media darling, and celebrity soul mate,"was sentenced to two years of probation and paid a fine."

     Birds of a feather,
flock together.

Some observers believe Smollett should throw his hat in the ring, joining the crowed field as yet another unqualified Democrat candidate for that party's Presidential nomination in 2020.

Why should this possibility be so far fetched?

Remember what 'Uncle' Joe Biden's words did for Obama's career?

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man."

What a great campaign slogan.

He might be an alleged liar, but he "is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man."

And Usually, all the qualifications needed to set your
Democrat political career in motion.
