It's all about transparency, right?
Shall we go back in time, when Barack Obama was President, and he casually brushed off public concerns over surveillance of American citizens, saying the (Patriot Act) spying was intended to listen in on those actors suspected of terrorism against this country. Paraphrasing now, if ordinary citizens chatter got intertwined with these investigations it was no big deal (my words). His Words, "You have nothing to fear, if you have nothing to hide."
Well then, why should ordinary poll workers be so edgy when their fellow citizens take an interest in the tabulation process of their ballots in perhaps one of the most important elections of our time?
After all, these dedicated ordinary citizens are impeccably pure and honest, right?
Well, some might say, even your Aunt Sally is perfectly capable of violating the rights of her fellow citizens. And while a number of poll workers may be honest and well intentioned, some of them may not be as honest as you presume.
And here's the shocker, your Aunt Sally may even be dishonest or gullible, but weak-kneed when it comes to resisting the temptation of abusing the authority she has been given. Or, on the other hand, sweet little old Aunt Sally, secretly might have been determined from the beginning to act in the most nefarious way possible.
And who knows, as an added perk, there might even be a 'couple of bucks in it for her.'
Even Criminal organizations, like the DNC, employ some bad Granny apples.
