“The United States has always had a pretty sacred rule, and that is: We don’t leave our men or women in uniform behind.” -- Barack Hussein Obama 6-3-2014

"Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace."Dwight D. Eisenhower --
Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States.
However, probably no other modern day President could be better identified with the title 'Commander-in-Chief,' than this five-star general, who served, and more importantly, was a leader of leaders in the United States Army during World War II.
Eisenhower lived in an America when motivation meant more than visions of future political ambitions.
Not only did he serve as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe, but he had responsibility for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45 from the Western Front.*
