Tough talking Terry went before cameras to denounce the violence, and had a message for those who gathered to protest the removal of yet another key Civil War figure's statue.
"I have a message to all the white supremacists and the Nazis who came into Charlottesville today. Our message is plain and simple: Go home. "You are not wanted in this great Commonwealth. You pretend that you are patriots, but you are anything but a patriot." *
Go Home? Wake-up-call for McAuliffe. Many of the people you label Nazis and so-called white supremacists, won't have far to go. Many of these very same people could very well be one of your neighbors.
Having lived in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the early 70s, I witnessed the blatant racism boldly displayed in the place you now pretend is a bastion of Patriotism. Of course, you could not be expected to know this ugly side of Virginia's history. Hell, while all this fun-stuff was happening right there below the Mason-Dixon Line, you were just a pup of 13, and living a sheltered and apparently naive 'Yankee-boy' life in Syracuse, New York.
Using your words Mister Governor, "You pretend that you are patriots, but you are anything but a patriot." But if you, Terry McAuliffe, believe the erasure of American history is in the best interest of this Nation's future...YOU ARE ANYTHING BUT A PATRIOT.
Rubbing shoulders, and riding shotgun for the Clinton's for the past few decades have proven to be a pretty lucrative gig for McAuliffe. The Carpetbagger Governor of Virginia’s net worth is estimated to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 Million.**
