'The Oscars'--Only show never cancelled due to crappy ratings

     Why is it, every year (what seems like a never ending year of Hollywood/New York City award shows) the viewer ratings go lower and lower, but these seem to be the ONLY crappy television shows, which never get the axe?

      In light of the most recent shooting massacres in Las Vegas and Florida, and as previously stated at this website, we have a serious crime problem in this nation, but little, if nothing to do with our 2nd Amendment Constitutional rights.

     "Obviously few will disagree,  we have serious violent crime problems in this country.  And not one person is so void of insensitivity to be immune from mournful emotional reaction for the victims of this violence.  

     But someone please tell me why we should give a 'rats ass' regarding what Jimmy Kimmel, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey or any other so called celebrity, has to opine on this or any other violent crime in this nation.  For once, it might be nice if they stick to their scripted words.

     If it were not for the garbage they consider art and entertainment flowing out of Hollywood, perhaps there might be a completely different mental attitude in America.  

     They celebrate their own alleged accomplishments by churning out this crap, deliberately mis-labelled as 'family entertainment.'  

     They bore us regularly by littering television time with entertainment world awards programs, showering themselves with praise and accolades, recognizing the brilliance in their trade,  for producing some of the most intolerable and vile motion pictures; exhibitions normally reserved for sleazy triple-X movie dives.

     So please Jimmy Kimmel, or any other wanna-be celebrity AND politicians, (In today's world, they are one and the same) spare us your crocodile tears and emotional pleas, in the name of stripping NORMAL Americans of what rights and freedoms they have remaining, all in the name of decency.  

     For as we have already stated, you people (celebrities AND politicians) are totally devoid of that characteristic.  And more importantly, many many Americans are beginning to realize.....YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.  

     A simple glance at your pathetic plummeting ratings should be ample justification for cancellation of this on going, and what seems like, perpetual showering of self-adornment.
