President Barack Obama's reported prime candidate to become the next U-S Secretary of State, Senator John F. Kerry (shown here in a 2004 Presidential campaign picture op, apparently attempting to sway National Rifle Association member voters in that election) gives the thumbs-up sign.
One must wonder if hunter Kerry would be giving that same 'in-agreement-gesture'
following today's announcement by Obama declaring his Vice President Joe Biden will lead an administration effort to curb gun violence in the aftermath of the massacre in Newtown, Conn., on Friday.
Biden, who also was a Presidential candidate in the 2008 primaries, is perhaps one of the most anti-gun advocate choices Obama could have selected. In fact,
'Biden was given an "F" by the National Rifle Association (NRA) showing an anti-gun ownership voting record. He supports reinstating a Federal ban on various semi-automatic rifles and voted against prohibition of lawsuits against gun manufacturers. He
has also voted to end what gun-control activists call the"gun show loophole", stating that no one should be able to walk into a gun show and buy a gun more easily than they could at a gun store.'*
Handing this assignment over to a clueless and prejudiced anti-gun person such as Joe Biden, makes about as much sense as naming SANDRA FLUKE to champion the cause of Right to Life!
