"Children see and imitate adults"

America lowered the bar in so many areas of our society following the Presidential election of 2008.

Prior to 2008, most 'children' crossed an invisible line into adulthood at the age of 18.  Perhaps with the exception of consumption of alcohol in the US, when you reached the age of 18, you magically became an equal with your adult 'peers' -- including your parents.

Throughout this nation's history, our new 'adult inductees' were proving their admittance into this private club by mimicking their adult peers;  serving their country by enlisting in a branch of the United States military.  Seeking employment, getting their own place, and moving out of mom and dad's house, because it was a demonstration of your ability to make it on your own.

That all changed following the election of 2008 when Barack Hussein Obama assumed the role of President of the United States.  With passage of the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, 'required (health insurance) plans and issuers that offer dependent coverage to
make the coverage available until the adult child reaches the age of 26.  CHILDREN up to the age of 26.  CHILDREN up to age 26 were allowed to stay on their parent’s employer plan.

Yes.....young adults of 18, suddenly were now reduced to once again being viewed by their peers, and America...as children.  So the people you see pictured below, indeed were all children, under the age of 26, in 2007, when their adult idol--Barack Obama--stood on that stage (along with his peers), and some might rightfully interpret his stance as a silent form of protest.
