Pennsylvania: A Democratic Party stronghold? Must be a lot of 'closet REPUBLICANS.'

Pennsylvania seems to be one of those States where voters have a tendency to answer political pollster questions one way, but given the privacy of a voting booth, they cast their ballot  for persons they believe will best serve them.

Political pollsters prematurely claiming victory for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania, might want to consider which party has ruled the roost in most statewide elections throughout, at least the past 50 years.

Simply looking at voter registration does not always tell the full story, and despite Democrats outnumbering registered Republican voters in the Commonwealth by a better than 2 to 1 margin....look again at who has a history of walking away victorious following major elections?

REPUBLICAN Richard Schweiker January 3, 1969 – January 3, 1981
REPUBLICAN John Heinz January 3, 1977 – April 4, 1991 (Killed in Air accident) and a Democrat
Harris Wofford appointed to fill Heinz's term.  Was elected to finish Heinz term, but lost  reelection by yet another REPUBLICAN
REPUBLICAN Rick Santorum January 3, 1995 – January 3, 2007
REPUBLICAN Arlen Specter January 3, 1981 – April 28, 2009 who changed his party affiliation to Democratic.  Went on to lose in primary to another Democrat, who was defeated in the General Election by still  another REPUBLICAN,
REPUBLICAN Pat Toomey January 3, 2011 – Present

The the other remaining DEMOCRATIC US Senator throughout this period is

Democratic Senator Bob Casey Jr. January 3, 2007 – Present

REPUBLICANS outnumber Democrats in Congress 13-5.

In the entire 20th Century until present day, only SEVEN Democrats have been elected as Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs. 20 Representing the REPUBLICAN Party.

And although a Democrat currently serves as Governor, both the State Senate AND State House are a  majority REPUBLICANS.

Again, REPUBLICANS are outnumbered by Democrats somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 to 1 registered voters

If Pennsylvania (possibly ground zero in the Presidential Sweepstakes) is to be considered a Democratic stronghold.....

WHY HAVE REPUBLICANS BEEN CONSISTENTLY WINNING WHEN VOTERS ENTER THE PRIVACY OF THEIR VOTING BOOTH?

IF HILLARY CLINTON'S CAMPAIGN GENIUSES ARE DETERMINED TO PLACE ALL THEIR HOPES FOR CAPTURING THE PRESIDENCY IN PENNSYLVANIA'S BASKET OF VOTERS, THEY'D BETTER BE PREPARED TO EAT PLENTY OF 'SCRAMBLED EGGS' ON NOVEMBER 8TH.
