More than Oil flowing in this Gulf

If President Barack Obama believes that massive oil breach in the Gulf has plagued him with sleepless nights, perhaps he might stock up on equally massive doses of 'NO-Doz' for the all-nighters sure to be waiting for him on the shores of yet another Gulf.

According to the Times Online, 'Three German-built Israeli submarines equipped with nuclear cruise missiles are to be deployed in the (Persian) Gulf near the Iranian coastline.'
Israel stations nuclear missile subs off Iran - Times Online

These reports coupled this morning with news alerting the world of, what is sure to be a major crisis in that region.

JERUSALEM (AP) - Israeli naval commandos stormed a flotilla of ships carrying aid and hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists to the blockaded Gaza Strip on Monday, killing at least 10 passengers in a predawn raid that set off worldwide condemnation and a diplomatic crisis.

Bloggers at sites like the Huffington Post and talking heads at MSNBC might have a rude awakening regarding the caliber of leadership they have so strongly endorsed by embedding a hoard of incompetents in, not only the White House, but also at the very foundation of our entire government.

Additionally, it might be wise advice to our environmental crowd (acknowledging how dedicated and important their work might be) ....before you go running off with buckets, brushes and bottles of Dawn to save the birds, turtles and other mammals off the coast of Louisiana--your humanitarian efforts will be better served by boarding flights to the Persian Gulf to assist in mopping up the waves of blood, certain to be washing on shore as the result of this major world crisis.

Finally--A boycott decent Americans can support!

Who knew it could be this easy to prevent slime from seeping into your neighborhoods. If only these idle threats could be applied to that insidious oily scum sliding onto gulf beaches.

A piece of Arizona Anti-illegal alien legislation, echoing edicts established by Federal law, has provoked a multitude of loony left liberals, and in some cases just plain loons, to pull contracts or services from the Grand Canyon State.

If this is all it takes to keep 'entertainers' (some mentioned here with tongue in cheek) such as, Rage against the Machine, Kanye West, Shakira and ? Michael Moore from peddling its fare to youthful virgin minds, one can only ask Arizona legislators to keep the ink flowing from their law-writing instruments! Ironically, one of the few venues criticizing boycott efforts is 'Fucked Up!' No really, that is the band's name. (God works in mysterious ways when sending assistance to sort out right from wrong).

Entertainers making political statements by depriving us from their musical genius, can only make decent Americans laugh. If their threats were to withhold curcial necessities like water, food or shelter, it might carry some weight. But when their wares are nothing more than self-adorned products of pomp, its affect is like a flea biting an elephant's ass. In other words, 'go away (hopefully for good), and good riddance! Oh, and don't forget to take your bags of crap with you!

*'Rage Against the Machine' lead Arizona boycott

Rap-rock crew invite musicians to skip Arizona on concert tours until the state's controversial new immigration law is repealed

Hot on the heels of Shakira, Rage Against the Machine are leading a fresh charge against Arizona's controversial new immigration law. Artists including Kanye West, Sonic Youth and Massive Attack have all pledged a musical boycott of the US state, refusing to tour there until the "odious" bill is repealed.

Rage frontman Zack de la Rocha is seizing the megaphone for Sound Strike, a new organisation for which "Arizona is [the] picket line". Their target is bill SB1070, which passed the Arizona state legislature last month. Signed into law by governor Jan Brewer, the bill compels police officers to challenge anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant to prove their immigration status. Those without documentation will be arrested as criminals.

"Fans of our music, our stories, our films and our words can be pulled over and harassed every day because they are brown or black, or for the way they speak, or for the music they listen to," de la Rocha wrote in an open letter. "This law opens the door for them to be shaked down [sic], or even worse, detained and deported while just trying to travel home from school, from home to work, or when they just roll out with their friends."

Launched yesterday, the campaign's initial supporters include everyone from singer-songwriter Conor Oberst and hip-hop crew Cypress Hill, to film-maker Michael Moore and Mexican band Los Tigres del Norte. Joe Satriani, Serj Tankian and Spank Rock have also signed up. All of these artists have pledged to skip Arizona on concert tours, refusing to allow their "collective economic power to ... aid and abet civil and human rights violations".

"[I feel] terrible about the idea of boycotting Arizona," Satriani told Billboard. "I have friends there. I have a lot of fans there. ... [But] SB1070 just doesn't have enough in it to make it a good law. In the last 15 years the erosion of rights of American citizens has put us close to a police state. We teeter back and forth; that's what you have to be vigilant about."

Not every progressive musician is in favour of a boycott. Hardcore band Fucked Up, winners of last year's Polaris prize, spurred a debate last month when they criticised the band Stars for advocating a boycott. "Why not keep playing Arizona, using the shows as an opportunity to engage the people there to get involved?" asked frontman Damian Abraham. "Use press ops before the show to talk about what is going on in the local media."

But for de la Rocha, the greatest fear is that SB1070 will become a model for other US border states. "If other states follow the direction of Arizona," he wrote, "we could be headed towards a pre-Civil Rights era reality." Sound Strike has invited all musicians to join their boycott, and launched a petition asking president Obama "to take necessary and appropriate action" against the Arizona bill. At the time of writing, there are, er, 81 signatures.

Venus Williams

(So sad Venus Williams has obviously chosen to pattern herself after trollops like Madonna, rather than emulating black women athletes who pioneered in the sport of tennis...suggested reading for 'Venus'):

Rogues of the World now view America's leaders as Paper Tigers

Suspected Squatters Cite Obscure Law To Stay In Home - News Story - WFTV Orlando

Discussions of Squatters usually create a mental picture of dwellings reflecting sub-standard conditions such as those found in places known as 'shantytowns.'

(Carolyn Schaefer/Getty Images)

However, with assistance from groups like 'Take back the Land,' squatters could find themselves housed in luxurious estates like this.

Way back in March, I posted on this blog an entry entitled: "Foreclosed homes in America--Future lodging for illegals!" The gist being, use for all these foreclosed homes might be extended one day to illegal aliens. The observation was somewhat tongue in cheek, but in today's upside down society, it did seem rational to me.

On May 13th in Deltona, Florida a woman and her seven children were forced to leave a 3900 sq. ft. vacant home. She protested the ouster after citing a little known state laws known as Adverse Possession. (In other words, she just made claim to the empty house, because she needed housing for her family, the house was there, so she moved in). The average person is not going to have knowledge of an obscure law such as this, therefore they are supplied information with tactic from groups such as Take back the Land. (Listen to and view this woman's comments here).

This is a process being promoted by a Miami based group known as TAKE BACK THE LAND*. Basically they illegally move people into foreclosed/bank owned homes, saying it is their right to have shelter. This obviously is outrageous, but dovetails with my prediction of what was to come at the absurd end of the illegal alien problem in this country.

*Tale back the land--according to Wikipedia

Take Back the Land is an American organization based in Miami, Florida devoted to rehousing homeless people in foreclosed houses.[1][2] Take Back the Land was formed in October 2006 to build the Umoja Village Shantytown on a plot of unoccupied land[3] to protest gentrification and a lack of low-income housing in Miami. The group began opening houses in October 2007[4] and moved six homeless families into vacant homes in 2008.[1] By April 2009, the group had moved 20 families into foreclosed houses.[5] As of November 2008[update], the group had ten volunteers.[6] Take Back the Land volunteers break into the houses, clean, paint and make repairs, change the locks, and help move the homeless families in. They provide supplies and furniture and help residents turn on electricity and water. Though the occupations are of contested legality, as of December 2008[update] local police officers were not intervening, judging it to be the responsibility of house owners to protect their property or request assistance.[2]

In some states, 'a landlord who is aware of squatters living in a house and does nothing to get rid of them may be viewed as implicitly agreeing with their presence '[source: SFTU].

Groups like 'Take back the Land' may have good intentions, however, as in the case of foreign individuals crossing our American borders and setting up residency without proper documentation--both practices are ILLEGAL and must be stopped.

City of Los Angeles Boycotts Arizona - Council bans city travel, future contracts

City of Los Angeles Boycotts Arizona - Council bans city travel, future contracts

Newser) – There are boycotts, and then there are Boycotts. Arizona is facing one of the capital B variety over its immigration law—by the city of Los Angeles. The council today banned most city travel to the state and future contracts with Arizona companies, reports the Los Angeles Times. Current contracts worth $58 million—many at LAX or the Port of Los Angeles—were spared but will be reviewed. During debate, council members tossed around comparisons to Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.

“Los Angeles is the second-largest city in this country, an immigrant city, an international city. It needs to have its voice heard,’’ said Councilman Ed Reyes. “As an American, I cannot go to Arizona today without a passport. If I come across an officer who’s having a bad day and feels that the picture on my ID is not me, I can be…deported, no questions asked. That is not American."

The Left coast buffoons have finally gone off the deep end and hopefully this insane and Un-American action will backfire and return to haunt, and follow them right to bankruptcy court doorsteps.

Anything labeled 'made in California' is now off limits to many American consumers. You see L-A.....this game wasn't just made for two, and you and your economy will pay for this foolish move.

A vast majority of true Americans strongly support actions taken in Arizona. If there is any justice remaining in the Universe, perhaps all these nomads leaving Arizona will find their way to L-A! When these human parasites drain every last peso from your already empty coffers, perhaps the taxpaying citizens of Los Angeles will awaken and realize what fools they have been and will begin acting as citizens of America, rather than flower children hippie-characters of the 60s!

A switch-hitter on the Supreme Court might be a solution.....

Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan

POLITICO: Softball question - Ben Smith - Softball question
Who cares about Kagan's sexual orientation. Leave it to our 'leftist media' to run interference for the Obama Administration highlighting a storyline such as this in order to skirt the fact she has no prior experience as a judge. Besides, many would say this unbalanced Supreme Court is long over due on a switch hitter taking a seat in the dug-out!

Consistently voting 'left or right' is probably responsible for most present day negative issues in today's America. Unfortunately, today's jurist base their opinions on personal emotions and ideology, rather than looking to our Constitution, where 'all men were created equal.'

So at the end of the day, most people don't give a damn whether Elena Kagan wears panties or BVD cotton briefs under her black robe. Most importantly, are her decisions based on principles established in the heart of our Republic....the United States of America Constitution.

Launching of a 'Herculean PR' campaign

Way back in November, when writing about a trial for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in New York City, little did I know at that time I was posting the picture of a future terrorist perpetrator.

Right on cue, the leftist American media predictably picked up on terrorist organization's public relations moves and ran with 'the story.'
Within hours major media outlets were painting the picture of a young man, whose only crime was to seek the 'American Dream,' only to have his world and dreams shattered by the likes of that sinister former President, George W. Bush.
Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized U.S. citizen and Connecticut resident, bumbling and stumbling through a Times Square bombing attack gone bad, was well on his way to becoming the poster child for a pathetic excuse for news organizations in this country.
Brian Williams, NBC's newsman extraordinaire, appearing on the David Letterman Show, nearly had viewers in tears, describing how Shahzad's disappointments surely lead to his alleged attempt to strike back at a society which treated him so badly. Within minutes, Williams was so convincing in his description of this poor soul, I personally was prepared to muster the troops and mount a countrywide campaign, raising bail bond to 'spring' this dejected broken man.
And so, the PR campaign has begun--no longer will we see the likes of 'the old Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.' Be prepared to see a cleaner, homogenized version of disgruntled deliverers of man caused disaster.
Check your local listings for time and channel when people like Shahzad, will be occupying the guest seat on Letterman's Show. Not a tough act to follow when the seat is still warm from Williams visit. Who knows, next week Omar Sharif may even make an appearance.

She endorses best sellers, Did Oprah see writing on her own wall?

The Real Queen of Daytime

More weeks than not, 67-year-old Judge Judy beats Oprah's ratings—and she's not going anywhere. Rebecca Dana on her $100 million deal, how she met her husband, and why she can't stand Judge Wapner. Read full story here:

In an article headlined, "The end of Oprah as we know her," writer Nikki Finke reports,

".....The word internally at ABC is that TV stations have been cringing at Oprah's past and present and continuing support for Barack Obama, from her appearance at his inauguration to her visits to the White House, because it antagonizes half the viewing public who don't share her politics. Now Oprah will no longer be in their faces: instead she'll be isolated on cable. The biggest question now in the TV industry is whether it's "Good Luck!" or Good Riddance!"

Big difference between Judge Judy and Oprah seems to be, the Judge openly insults anyone and everyone in her 'courtroom,' but Oprah recently has been insulting her viewers intelligence by spoon-feeding personal political thoughts and choices.

Most television viewers, especially the daytime type, tune in to be entertained--not lectured and 'scolded' for holding opposing political philosophies of a diva hostess.

Not that it really makes any difference to Oprah Winfrey (after all, she is probably the richest woman on the face of this earth), but in the eyes of millions of television viewers, her recent support of some in the political arena, may very well have 'Rosie O'Donnell-ed' her life-long career!

New Racists in today's America! (UPDATED)

To be fair; I don't know this man.

I did read a published report where he refers to the American Tea Party movement as "racists and a terrorist threat, telling reporters, " I worked in homeland security. I’m from intelligence, and I’ll tell you, one of the largest threats to our internal security…I mean terrorism has an Islamic face, but it really comes from racial supremacist groups. (inaudible) Its the kind of thing we keep a threat assessment on record [for].

PICKET (reporter): From groups like this?

REP. CARSON (the real liar and racist): Oh absolutely."racists and a terrorist threat."

Take a good long look at this man's face.

Try to imagine what other hateful thoughts fill his mind. Try to understand why a man such as this would make such an outrageous accusation about honest, hard working, patriotic American citizens.

And now try to imagine how a man such as this, could possibly be elected to serve as a United States Congressman..... to serve the people, some of those very people he dares to insult by calling them racists and terrorists. This is the face of a political hack racist. His name is Andre Carson.

Not only is he an embarrasment to the citizens of Indiana who elected him, but also a blemish on the roster of great patriots who served this country so honorably in those hallowed Capitol halls.

When that same electorate comes to its senses and cleans the House of garbage like Carson, perhaps the issue of racism will finally be laid to rest. Additionally, the rest of America can say, "Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Apparently Indiana voters don't mind the stench of rotting garbage in their houses, but when they vote to reelect a POS such as Carson to spread his brand of Americanism in Our House in Washington, it is time for us, as a nation to reflect on where we are going and what future this country might retain as a world power.
