The Great Founding Fathers of the United States of America Apparently Didn't Envision The Year 2022

"Upon an elected president's

death, resignation, removal from office upon impeachment conviction or incapacity, the order of succession specifies that the office passes to the vice president"

Therefore, the woman pictured above would have some very big shoes to fill.  But considering the current holders of the top two offices in our Nation, we are certainly confident the smooth transition of government would happen without anyone really even noticing.  Right?

And, if for some unknown or unforeseeable reason the Vice President is not able to assume the responsibilities as President of the United States....This is the person waiting in the wings to take the position of Leadership of our Country.

   Maybe the founders weren't thinking clearly when they came up with this bright idea of passing along the mantle, or more than likely, the Ale was flowing freely at Ye Olde Tavern on that fateful day.
