Remember this picture when CNN claims to be 'objective' news. But wait, there's more.

Talk about irony.  Michael Avenatti, the "celebrity attorney" who just a few short weeks ago was the new gem in CNN's rhinestone jewelry box.  A place where he and his newest buds, partied hardy, was now the grim scene where those very same Trump-hating-make believe-journalists were forced to report on the indictment of their pal, Mikey.

Ah yes, CNN...the place where crow is eaten so often, this meaningless morsel has finally been added to the menu as a delicacy in the staff cafeteria.

"(CNN)A federal grand jury in Manhattan indicted celebrity attorney Michael Avenatti on Wednesday in two alleged schemes, charging him with fraud and aggravated identity theft involving his former client, Stormy Daniels, and with attempting to extort more than $20 million from sportswear giant Nike."

Fortunately for CNN, they are not alone when it comes to cleaning up a mess left by overly ambitious kids, mistakenly anointed as bona fide 'news people.'  Lately it seems like, gone are the days of real news reporters, and more than likely the people we see cast as authoritative news hunters, are former this-or-thats, who have little or no experience in gathering, much less, reporting on what is suppose to be news.

The news media loses most of its credibility when a vast majority of their slick news presenters are former political hacks, such as George Stephanopoulos.

Probably no one fits this description better than Stephanopoulos.  Quoting directly from Wikipedia's account of this faux-fair-minded-journalist (sic).  "Stephanopoulos is currently the chief anchor and the chief political correspondent for ABC News, a co-anchor of Good Morning America, and the host of ABC's Sunday morning This Week.   Stephanopoulos is a regular substitute anchor for ABC World News Tonight."

Most viewers of ABC are unaware that Stephanopoulos had a completely different 'love affair' going on in a previous lifetime.
Again quoting Wikipedia, "Before his career as a journalist, Stephanopoulos was an advisor to the Democratic Party. He rose to early prominence as a communications director for the 1992 presidential campaign of Bill Clinton and subsequently became White House communications director. He was later senior advisor for policy and strategy, before departing in December 1996....After leaving the White House at the end of Clinton's first term, Stephanopoulos became a political analyst for ABC News, and served as a correspondent on This Week, ABC's Sunday morning public affairs program; World News Tonight, the evening news broadcast; Good Morning America, the morning news program; along with other various special broadcasts."

Nowhere in this impressive menu of Journalistic excellence is there any mention about Georgie's master's degree in THEOLOGY.  Perhaps those talents were more important to the Clintons keeping a holy guy around, than ABC, where their deity of choice happens to be a fictitious Mouse.

Apparently, Georgie didn't practice what he was taught to preach when it came to being totally honest about personal monetary generosity toward his former owners. When George failed to disclose $75,000 in donations to the Clinton Foundation, his current employer (ABC) characterized the error in judgement as "an honest mistake."  Too bad ABC didn't extend this same forgiving courtesy to actress/comedian Roseanne Barr, when without as much as a courtesy hearing in their jump to judgement court, for an otherwise, off the cuff remark, they canned the veteran personality and dumped her top rated TV sitcom program. The cancellation announcement from ABC president Channing Dungey, the first African-American woman to head the network, called Barr's remark "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our (ABC) values."

Some observers might suggest that Dungey had ulterior motives,  shining light on a minor remark, and recasting it as a question of values. VALUES?  ABC has VALUES?  The same network, understandably a different division, which without real credible sources,  misreported that former national security adviser to President Trump Michael Flynn  was prepared to testify that President Trump as a candidate - Donald Trump - ordered him, directed him to make contact with the Russians, which contradicts all that Donald Trump has said at this point. Now, in fact, the indictment papers showed that Flynn was prepared to testify that it was as a president-elect, not as a candidate, that Donald Trump directed him to contact the Russians. That is very different legal implications. And there are very different justifications for Trump having him do that. It's a serious, serious error. Brian Ross basically sat down and spoke to anchor, and Friar Tuck wannabe, George Stephanopoulos without having vetted that single source by editors. And what punishment was sorted out to Ross...ABC News apologized for 'serious error' in the Trump report, and suspended Brian Ross for four weeks.

Brian Ross gets a four week vacation, sorry suspension.  Georgie Stephanopoulos is less than truthful about a continued financial relationship with the Clintons..."an honest mistake."  Rosanne Barr Tweets what she believed to be a humorous tale about Obama's Nanny...ABC  figuratively slits her throat, leaving her to bleed out...ending her career, apparently hoping this human sacrifice would somehow appease the Liberal's mythical lord and almighty god, Soros....All Hail Soros.

So, go ahead Ms. Dungey, and talk your 'Values' crap.  This is the same Channing Dungey who happens to be a Vice President at Netflix.  And, this is also the very same Netflix where Barack and Michelle Obama reportedly signed a deal with the streaming service  to produce television shows and films which could be worth as much as $50 million. Check out this cushy deal for the Obama (we're-just-like-you) parasites here: https://www.redstate.com/setonmotley/2018/05/28/obamas-netflix-cronyism-comes-full-circle/.  Entering Netflix Corporate offices might make ordinary Liberals feel like they arrived during home coming week, considering the presence of other Obama lackeys hanging around the inner circle's water cooler.  Wasn't too long ago that Netflix appointed Susan Rice,  former U.S. national security adviser and Ambassador to the United Nations during the Obama administration, to its board of directors. So, the belief by many is, if you are a regular 'paying' subscriber to Netflix, there is little difference between giving Neflix your hard earned money, or sending a personal check to the DNC.

Meanwhile, over at the Peacock Network, NBC's Meet the Press mouthpiece, Chuck Todd, the totally unbiased opinion spokesman for his network, is married to Kristian Denny Todd, who just happens to be co-founder of Maverick Strategies and Mail, which provides direct mail and consulting services for Democratic candidates and progressive causes.  No chance of conflict of interest here, right folks.

They seem to be all part of one big happy family. But, similar to many of those misfit units, the ugly truth of their superficial happiness is hidden somewhere beneath a pile of dirty laundry. And just like our media families, if you can't stand the smell, tough luck.
