We currently have a lawmaker who was born in Somalia, where the average IQ is 68. Pelosi assigns her to the Congressional EDUCATION & Labor committee.

You might be interested in a bit of information about the subject of I.Q. before we continue.

"Intelligence quotient (I.Q.) tests are designed to measure intellectual functioning. An I.Q. score provides a rough numerical assessment of an individual's present level of mental functioning in comparison with that of others. The vast majority of people in the United States have I.Q.s between 80 and 120, with an I.Q. of 100 considered average.

To be diagnosed as having mental retardation, a person must have an I.Q. below 70-75, i.e. significantly below average.

If a person scores below 70 on a properly administered and scored I.Q. test, he or she is in the bottom 2 percent of the American population and meets the first condition necessary to be defined as having mental retardation.

Unfortunately, we have no way of gathering exact data regarding IQ information specific to our elected officials serving us in Washington, D.C., but with regards to one particular Congresswoman, we are able to make a few observations based solely on her country of origin before moving to the United States, and becoming a naturalized citizen.

Born in Somalia, this is Congresswoman Ilhan Omar who represents the 5th District of Minnesota in the US House of Representatives.

One of the very few times
Ilhan Omar was spotted without her trademark Babushka!
(A mugshot)

Please remember, an I.Q. in the 60 to 70 range is approximately the scholastic equivalent to the third grade."**

  • Education and Labor Committee--Average IQ Score for individuals born in  Ilhan Omar's country of origin (Somalia) is 68...and this genius is serving the people of the United States of America on the f*cking EDUCATION and Labor Committee.  And just what are the responsibilities of this Einstein of Wisdom and Ingenuity on The Education and Labor Committee?
Well, for starters...this prodigy of precocity oversees education programs at all      levels from preschool to higher education including Head Start, child nutrition  programs, higher education programs, and financial oversight of the U.S. Department of Education.
It also oversees labor initiatives from job training to retirement security, union rights, occupational health and safety, and the minimum wage.

Keep in mind, the person responsible for appointing Congresspersons to these committees is none other than, Nancy Pelosi, who...when we last checked, wasn't exactly a radiant example of mental soundness. (Mrs. Pelosi's IQ...also unavailable).

We can only speculate on Pelosi's reasoning when appointing Omar to these particular positions, but when Nancy was informed about Ilhan Omar's Somalian roots, she was probably motivated to assign her to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Pelosi's apparent logic in making this appointment...Omar sounds like a foreign name, she's wearing a Hijab, she's a trafficker in anti-Semitic tropes and speaks broken English with nearly the same equivalence of an American 3rd grader.  Yeah, she should fit right in on The Foreign Affairs Committee.

And for those not familiar, The Foreign Affairs Committee oversees all foreign assistance, national security affecting this country’s foreign policy, treaties, peacekeeping and war powers.****  You simply cannot make up this crap.

Editor's Note:  We have no data available regarding Congresswoman Omar's actual IQ.  Our observations, admittedly a bit satirical, merely identify confirmed figures which reflect the average IQ of persons born in Countries throughout the World. (For all we know, Omar's IQ actually could be 69).
