A sacred treasure to innumerable, proud American citizens,
transformed into a trashy display by its current occupants.
A blatant exclamation of contempt!
The White House has always been viewed as 'HOME' to
ALL
Americans, and simply on loan to a very few fortunate among us, who occupy it for a brief moment in time.
Actually, the White House is considered a 'sacred place' by most Americans. If you've had an opportunity to walk through that building, you experience a very special sense of pride, thanking God you are among the privileged to be called 'An American.'
Therefore, designing this hurtful and unnecessary spectacle (and make no mistake, it is nothing but an adolescent 'in your face' prank) obviously was a preplanned event. The 'secret' Supreme Court decision apparently, 'not so secret' to those pulling the robed lawyers strings from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As someone pointed out following this politically motivated decision, 'not a body of Judges, but tyrants.'
“This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves.”
Was it necessary for this President's minions to desecrate the White House in such a childish fashion? Of course not, but someone recently said 'if you are going to do something so despicably evil, destroy something having special meaning to your opposition...something they care about...something they've fought for and made sacrifices to save.'
If indeed this was your objective Mister Obama......Mission Accomplished.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
This image of that stately building will forever carry the scars associated with your legacy, whatever that might be. Some historians will probably declare affordable health care as your shining moment. But others, if they have an ounce of credibility and conscience, will record this image for future generations to herald as your paramount achievement.
