COLLEGE

NO!!!!!!!!!

Not THAT college, although to most Americans, this might be the image which appears in their mind's eye at the very mention of this older than life dinosaur-like, and most would agree, outdated U-S institutions.

     By definition, The Electoral College "is a process, not a place. The founding fathers established it in the Constitution as a compromise between election of the President by a vote in Congress and election of the President by a popular vote of qualified citizens."

     Still don't get it????  Watch this, and take notes because there will be a short quiz following the presentation.  

      Incidentally, I have been advocating abolishment of this decrepit and haggard portion of our electoral process ever since the day we advanced beyond stage coach travel in this country.  But for now, watch the video, and like me, get a better understanding of WHY THIS DINOSAUR should be placed in the Smithsonian Institution, right alongside Archie Bunker's lounging chair!

Hope you now have a better understanding of WHY THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE must be dismantled and make the UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN a true Republic where it's representatives are indeed elected BY THE PEOPLE.
